Agenda:

Update planners with Agenda and HW

  1. Announcements: 5 min.
    • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.
  2. Romeo and Juliet Act I Scene iii, iv, v 50 min
    • Students will work with a partner to continue reading p. 49-71 in the No Fear Shakespeare books. There are 24 books; please make sure to collect and count them at the end, students may not take home copies or check them out!
    • Teacher will circulate and stamp the yellow packets of students who are on task and working respectfully.
  3. Chapter 12 Vocabulary 25- 30 min
    1. Hand out Ch 12 Vocabulary Packet.
    2. Students may work together for 10 minutes to complete Word Parts in Context.
    3. Review sentences and answers as a whole class.
    4. Students may work together to complete Matching Word Parts with Definitions for 10 minutes.
    5. Review answers as a whole class.
